You may register for both activities, but due to differences in nature, timing, and content, each must be arranged and applied for separately.

Japan Wakayama International Music Festival

Held every July to August, this is a summer flagship project centered on international music competitions, stage performances, and festival activities. Applications are accepted in batches from October each year through June of the following year, focusing on school visits, classroom observation, joint rehearsals, lunch exchanges, and educational travel planning. Suitable for schools and teaching teams wishing to truly bring international exchange into campus learning.

Submit a Taiwan-Japan School Exchange Request

If you'd like to plan campus visits, collaborative music learning, and educational trips running from October through July of the following year, feel free to submit your exchange request first. On the Taiwan side, the Lexuan Foundation co-organises and coordinates the programme as the administrative and communication window for Taiwanese ensembles — exchange applications, documents, pre-departure preparation and liaison with the education authority in Japan are handled in one place.
